The Nomination!

Hi everybody! Schnickle Hospital, Brian's crazy/funny/disturbing comic, has been chosen to be our other comic! You're gonna love it. But first, we want to say something about the other, unpublished comics, House of Cheeseman and From the Desk of Detective Luffagus.

As a special, limited treat, we're gonna make ONE COMIC for those two others. There are only gonna be TWO. We'll slip them in two separate editions of our awesome Halloween Bowling Ball.

And don't forget! In the back of the comic we have three notices that you should read - one, an advertisement for our Halloween issue, two, your selection of three new comic series, and three, a notice regarding those who have pre-ordered Tales of the Grotesque.

So, we're just saying - we have more than we can keep on our hands here, so come and get them!

Start Pre-Ordering!

This Thursday, the third issue of The Marvelous Adventures of Bowling Ball comes out. This one is an edition we're particularly proud of, as in it, we pay tribute to Mary Shelley's classic horror story Frankenstein in the second story, The Partner in Crime!

Speaking of that particular story, Halloween's coming up, and we're going to make the most bone-chilling Bowling Ball stories yet in our Halloween issue Tales of Terror from the Bowling Alley. We'll be writing three new stories...and, if you liked The Partner in Crime! and The Cellar, we'll REPRINT them! Yes, you get to see three new epical stories while seeing old favorites! Tell your seller or comment on this post if you want this to happen.

We're very proud of our third issue. Brendan thinks its the best so far. We hope you enjoy it. Thanks.

Important Notices

NEW COMIC SERIES – YOU DECIDE!

Yes – due to recent requests, we here at B & B Productions have decided to let YOU, dear reader, choose our next comic series!
We have three ideas which we think are, as Bowling Ball would say, “epical.” So we'll let you vote for which one you want.
HOUSE OF CHEESEMAN
Cheeseman is one of Brendan’s first creations – and his favorite. Since we first invented him, we've created a whole colorful cast of characters and a wonderful history. So, when Cheeseman and his friends/enemies get trapped inside his new mansion during a dreadful storm, wonderful, crazy, and magical antics ensue. For those of you who have a copy of the Official B & B Showcase Book, we’ll be incorporating some of those awesome drawings into creepy, awesome, thrilling stories.
FROM THE DESK OF DETECTIVE LUFFAGUS
Detective Luffagus first appeared in our awesome movie Brendan O’Connell’s Worthington Manor, which starred Brendan himself as the crazy, kooky detective. It also featured Brian as the villainous Cornelius Worthington, our cousin Liam as partner in crime Dr. Neon, and our other cousin Anna as Miss Periwinkle. In this comic series, Detective Luffagus goes over his long history of “solving” crimes. Each edition, we get to see one of his case files – and what happened in that case. If this one gets nominated, we’ll start off with a graphic version of Worthington Manor itself.
SCHNICKLE HOSPITAL
This started out as a script by Brian called Smilio, Smilia, and Grinnigore, which was about two siblings who work at Schnickle Hospital that are menaced by a crazy person named Grinnigore. It was never produced. HOWEVER, we've decided to give it a chance as a comic. In this series, the siblings have crazy, unusual adventures in the hospital – and in several editions, we make Grinnigore appear! The grotesque art/writing of Brian O’Connell coupled with Brendan’s humorous art/writing makes this a very entertaining comic!

Well, there you have it! Pick which one you want and tell the person who gave you this week’s edition of Bowling Ball, or comment on this post. The results will be announced on Halloween.

TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVE PRE-ORDERED

Tales of the Grotesque

EDGAR ALLAN POE
We REALLY do hate to say this, folks, but, due to (reasonable) censorship, Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of the Grotesque will NOT be distributed on Halloween – or, for any other time. I was really eager for this project but the stories included are very violent and disturbing for the audience we're aiming at. We're sorry, but we cannot afford a school-parent scandal at our position. We hope you can forgive us, and we hope Mr. Poe (wherever he is now) can forgive us too. We strongly apologize. I really wanted to do it – heck, I came UP with the idea. But we've come to the realization that your parents will freak if they see you reading this. Thank you, faithful buyers, and sorry.
